The Holidays by Tiana's

It's been a while since I've photographed New Orleans Square during the Christmas season, and a few things have changed during that time. Most noticeably, the French Market has undergone a transformation to become Tiana's Palace in association with the Critter Country and Splash Mountain conversion to the Princess and the Frog-themed Bayou Country and Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The other noticeable change since my last time photographing this area is the change from traditional incandescent string lights to LED string lights.  The new bulbs are more energy efficient, which is great, though their color temperature doesn't feel as warm and natural as the old version--something that LED's still seem to struggle with.  Either the LED whites are too cool or they're a sort of unnatural yellow with green tinge.  I can fix this a bit in post, but I'd rather get it right in camera.

Still, it's a pretty sight and quite luminous. And the little hanginge stars and crescent moon add that Orleans flair to the scene!
