Hanging Lanterns in the Woods

Several years ago, Disney California Adventure had a cool Raya and the Last Dragon photo op where guests could meet Raya as part of the Lunar New Year Celebration. As Disney's first Southeast Asian princess, this was another great chapter in advancement in representation, and the photo op ran popularly for several seasons.  It was one of the few character meet-and-greets that ran late, so the colorful Asian lanterns that served as a backdrop could glow in their colorful hues, adding to the lovely ambiance.

I don't think this feature has run the past couple of years, but it's nice to look back at what once was!
