Jack's Treasure

It may come as a surprise, but my favorite (traditional) Pirates of the Caribbean isn't the Disneyland original. It's the version in Disneyland Paris! This iteration is very similar to the one that started it all, but it is laid out in chronological order--with the pirates alive and swashbuckling and sacking towns and then dead and skeletons later.  It also features some scenes not found in the original, including an exciting overhead swinging pirate moment, Captain Barbossa in a unique scene, and a different-looking shipwreck scene.  But just like the other Pirates rides, this one does feature one Captain Jack Sparrow sneaking around and ultimately enjoying a supreme lode of gold and jewels and riches.  He raises a toast to the passing travelers, and though the settings and the scene components aren't exactly the same as in Anaheim, the kit of parts is close enough.  Drink up, me hearties, to all this shiny plunder!
