Pirate Prison for Perpetuity

Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic all around the world, but in Shanghai Disneyland, the Imagineers took a different approach, basing the ride off the movie that was based off the original ride at Disneyland.  This is because the Chinese audience was more familiar with the movies than the Disneyland lore. But that didn't mean they couldn't reference the classic scenes, just in a new twist.  Early in the attraction, the classic jailed pirates scene is recreated but with skeletons, because in the movie, the buccaneers are all part of the watery undead.  It's a fun iteration of an unmistakable scene, and part of how Shanghai's Pirates represents a new generation of Disney E-Tickets!

Shanghai Disneyland's twist on the classic Pirates of the Caribbean jailed pirates scene features a skeleton dog too.
