A Lost River Christmas
The vast majority of my Tokyo Disney Sea Christmas photos are taken from the park's Mediterranean Harbor or American Waterfront sections, because those are the two ports of call that are most laden with holiday decorations. The rest of the park is relatively secular. But there are moments here or there that harken the festive winter season, including this part of the Lost River Delta. While most of the area retains a vegetation-covered jungle environment where Christmas decorations would look out of place, there is opportunity on the opposite side of the shore, across from Indiana Jones' Temple of the Crystal Skull. Rather than overt holiday decor, though, Christmas shows itself via green and red lights--the primary colors of the holiday. Whether on docks or across string lights, these provide a subtle suggestion of Christmas, and they don't feel out of place! It's just another really neat detail in a theme park full of so many beautiful ones!
