The Haunted Elevator
It's the central feature of every Tower of Terror attraction at the Disney parks around the world: the crashed elevator in the lobby--evidence of the horrific, supernatural events that cursed the hotel in which the attraction takes place. In the example below, we're at Hotel Hightower, at Tokyo Disney Sea. The architectural pride and joy of Harrison Hightower, this establishment was shuttered forever on that fateful night when the wicked idol, Shiriki Utundu, zapped the malicious Hightower into another dimension. The destroyed elevator that plummeted is the only evidence of such an evening. And as guests pass by it on the lobby, it serves as a foreboding sign of the adrenaline-filled surprises yet to come!
