Holidays at the Airfield

The fun thing about Disney California Adventure during the holidays is that a greater proportion of the park is actually dressed up for the Christmas season compared to Disneyland.  Decorations and holiday programming can be found in six of the eight themed lands of the park.  For example, over in Grizzly Peak, the holidays find the thick vegetation of the area dressed in colorful lights, hanging lanterns, tinsel, ribbons, and beads.  It's a rustic and nostalgic look, less gaudy than other parts of the park, and evoking the quiet, serene Christmas mood.  This is appropriate for an area that celebrates California's splendid wilderness, where people can escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.  And it's a lovely, tranquil environment for this time of the year!
