Today's post features two angles and two time periods of the Torii Gate Bridge. In addition to being taken two years apart, at the two different parts of the day, and from two perspectives, these snapshots showcase the iconic presence and ambiance-building that this connecting structure has to liven and activate the San Fransokyo Square area.  Though half of the bridge is the same trussed structure as the original Pacific Wharf entrance, the addition of the torii gate pylons creates a striking visual effect and wonderfully ties this "weenie" to the Big Hero 6  theme.  It's great how a rather simple, bold gesture can make a scene feel totally different from before!
