The Open Road

I have plenty of nighttime pictures of Disney parks featuring sweeping, wide views and nary a soul in sight. Those are easy; you just wait out the crowds and all the guests leaving.  But catching this during daytime involves either rope dropping and outracing everyone else to a particular scene, or just getting fortuitous timing.  I'm not an early morning person, so the shot below was accomplished via the latter method--I just happened to get lucky that no one happened to be ambling through this scene when I took this photo *checks notes* 13 YEARS AGO???

Wow, time flies.
