California Dreamin'

Blue skies, whispy clouds, fun and sun along the waterfront... these are all images synonymous with the innocent splendor of summer--especially during our childhoods.  A time when we could take a break from school, maybe go on a trip, and (at least for Southern Californians) frolic at the beach, summer was a deviation from the routine monotony of school and a time when we could revel and really enjoy the warm weather and the seasonal diversions.

That vibe is exactly captured at Paradise Pier, the predecessor to Pixar Pier inspired by the old seaside amusement parks of a century past and the nostalgia and warmth of simpler times.  And on a beautiful day, with clouds floating eye-opening textures in the skies, that sentiment seems to be reinforced even moreso!
