A Cherished Carthay Christmas
The vintage holiday scene at Disney California Adventure's Buena Vista Street reaches its most scenic form at Carthay Circle, where not one but two towering anchors create dual focal points around this gathering spot. The Buena Vista Christmas tree stands behind the Storytellers Statue, to the side of Buena Vista Street, but its colorful lights and shining star keep it prominent and photogenic. Likewise, the Carthay Circle Restaurant tower features a large, glowing Christmas wreath that adds a pop of color to a normally clean and mostly monochromatic architectural facade. It all adds up to a beautiful scene, especially late at night when most people have left the park, and we're left with that peaceful serenity of a Disney park after hours.
