The Holiday Parade Procession
Thanksgiving has come and gone, and it's definitely Christmas time now (if you haven't felt that it's already been from the early retail rollout of Christmas goods before even Halloween). So it's fulltime holiday posts on this blog through the rest of the year, and a good subject for today is Disneyland's A Christmas Fantasy parade. This long-running and very lengthy feature of holiday entertainment is a long-beloved tradition, celebrating Santa Claus and the holidays and the spirit of the season twice a day for Disneyland guests. The second showing is the more magical one, in my opinion, because it occurs after it's gotten dark, and the park is lit up in holiday magic. Especially if one is situated on Main Street to watch the parade roll by, the yuletide decorations and wonderfully festive floats create a marvelous environment of noel joy. And though that soundtrack is incredibly repetitive, it's an integral part of Disney's holiday line-up!
