It's #ThrowbackThursday, and it's Halloween season, so today, we look back at a spooky attraction that is no longer: the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Last year, this sinister attraction was transformed into the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! But before that, it was a portal to another dimension... a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. It was Hollywood, 1939, and a rainy evening, and a tragic accident at a landmark hotel that left the architectural icon shuttered for decades--and five unfortunate victims vanished into thin air. At its heart, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was a ghost story, which makes it fitting to feature here in the month of October, when all the posts are dedicated to the aura that surrounds my favorite holiday!
