This month marks three years since I last visited the Tokyo Disneyland Resort, and though it doesn't feel like it's been that long, it also does, because the parks there are so beautiful and well maintained and immaculate that I most definitely miss the exceedingly high quality of the ambiance throughout the Resort. I also miss the little whimsical aspects of the Resort that aren't found anywhere else, like the Aquatopia ride at Tokyo Disney Sea. Sure, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters at Disney California Adventure now uses the same technology, but Aquatopia is in such a cooler setting under the shadow of Mount Prometheus, and overlooking the ocean beyond the massive sea wall that lines Port Discovery's western edge. Scenes like the one below ring nostalgically in my heart, because they recall the amazing and magical memories made at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort!
