Around Discoveryland

Today, I thought we'd take a brief look at some of the sights across Disneyland Paris' Discoveryland.  This retro-futuristic area inspired by the imaginations of Jules Verne remains my favorite iteration of a Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland.  With its vibrant colors, fantastical machinations, and emphasis on a future that never was, it's the only one that's remained undated (the jury won't be out for Shanghai Disneyland's also-exquisite Tomorrowland for another decade or two).  So here are a few photos from the ambiance of this beautiful corner of the park!

The Orbitron stands in front of Paris' Space Mountain--overlaid as Hyperspace Mountain last year.

Mysteries of the Nautilus is a terrific walk-through attraction themed to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Videopolis looms in the background--a combination quick serve restaurant and indoor theater.

An X-Wing is parked above the queue of Star Tours and in front of the attraction's gift shop.
