De la Terre á la Bleu

Blue hour represents that time between night and day, when the last flashes of color in the sky still ring with vibrant hue, but the luminance of the evening starts to take shape.  It's a wonderful time to start nighttime photos, because it allows for the moodiness of a setting after dark to begin taking shape while still maintaining some of the vibrance of the day.  This rings true at Disney parks, and one of my favorite blue hour settings is Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris.  The retro-futuristic, Jules Verne-inspired architecture and aesthetic already looks fantastic on its own.  But combined with the cool evening colors, they make for an especially captivating scene!  Maybe it's just me, but there's something about a bluish palette that feels more like tomorrow!
