The Merry Red Car

It's after Christmas, but the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort continue through January 7th, so the festive posts will continue till then--with maybe a few non-seasonal posts.  For this one, we venture to Hollywood Land again for a simple and serene scene featuring the Red Car Trolley in Christmas garland, parked at its final stop just before Avengers Campus.  This attraction debuted eleven and a half years ago as part of the Buena Vista Street makeover that replaced Sunshine Plaza.  It's been a recognizable part of the Disney California Adventure streetscape ever since, similar to the Main Street Vehicles in Disneyland.  During the holidays, it's adorned with a bit of Christmas theming, and the green garland goes wonderfully well with the bright, red color scheme of the trolley car.  It's just a simple and romantic touch for this time of year!
