Recuérdame in Blue

Last year, I attended the Oogie Boogie Bash relatively late in the season and only had time to put up limited photos from that event. But this year, with a full season ahead and 8 out of 9 villains returning, I have a good stock of photos to share that won't really seem outdated!  

After seeing Hades in blue two days ago, we're back with more blue today.  This is Ernesto de la Cruz's Treat Trail, located next to the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land. Debuted two years ago, Ernesto serenades guests with this classic and crooning tunes heard in Coco, showcasing his ego and star at the same time.  The makeup and costuming on the character are exquisite--really bringing the animated character to life--right down to the skeletal appearance.  And the lighting cast upon him is moody and ethereal--befitting of someone set in the afterlife.  He plays his sets regularly, interacting with his adoring fans in between, and is a fantastic part of the Oogie Boogie Bash villains line-up!
