A Christmas Hint on Hong Kong Main Street

The first time I visited Hong Kong, I was shooting Main Street at the end of the night (as you do), when the scene suddenly changed.  Rather than the typical warm, glowing lights, the show lights snapped on, bathing the area in a very unique cool purple, while the warm decorative "incandescent" (I'm pretty sure they were artificially so) lights remained on tracing the storefronts.  I imagine this was show lighting for a Christmas parade or show, or perhaps lighting for a Christmas event.  This created quite a sight, and I made sure to fire off as many photos as I could.  It's always cool to be almost the only person left in the park.  Even cooler when they "give" special show lighting for you!
