Sometimes, you take a photo of something because there's an interesting or amusing juxtaposition based on the perspective of the scene. At least that was my reasoning for the photo below. In the midground, a prominent, video screened "Christmas tree" floats in the water of Mediterranean Harbor, bringing associations of warm holiday vibes and magical noel spirits. And then there's Hotel Hightower in the background looming with its scarier connotations. It's a literal Tower of Terror, and its energy featured in the same scene as the wonderful holiday celebration makes for an ironic composition. ...If you ask me, anyway.
