Rainy Royal Street II

Truth be told, I find New Orleans Square to be the most atmospheric land at Disneyland, just slightly ahead of even Main Street.  It's got a small footprint, and the immersive architecture and outdoor space is not quite extensive, but where it runs, the ambiance is incredibly romantic, elegant, and rich.  The way the winding streets turn and how the second floors of buildings bridge over the pathways creates this exquisite control of space that is literally enveloping.  Now, take all of this and add in the damp reflections of a drizzly evening, and the result is something unendingly magical.

A soggy winter evening in New Orleans Square.
