The Halloween Hub V

Two years ago, I actually got a relatively empty photo of The Hub at the end of Main Street with all its Halloween decorations around Walt and Mickey.  Most of the time, this shot happens at night.  And while there are people on the outer ring of The Hub in the background, I still think it's somewhat impressive that no one was in the foreground or midground of this shot.  The lovely afternoon light also provided a shiny vibrance that made the almost-autumn scene feel warm and nostalgic.  The spookiest time of the year is also a time of gathering.  And while Christmas is a gathering of family and presents, and Thanksgiving is a gathering of feast, Halloween is a gathering of tricks and treats and costumed feats--a rite of every childhood as well.

The Halloween Hub on a lovely early September day.
