Approach of the Winter Holidays

We're just two days from Thanksgiving, and then it's what used to be the official start of Christmas season.  Back in the Stone Ages, when they celebrated one holiday at a time, rather than overlapping others and/or manifesting months ahead of time. If you're a fan of said holiday, then you love that its season has been extended.  And if you're not, well, this is probably an aggravating time.  But soon, any such angst will be relieved, as the passing of Turkey Day will mark no excuses not to go yuletide cheer 24/7.
