999 Happy Haunts on the Move
One of the big changes this year at the Oogie Boogie Bash is the suspension of the Frightfully Fun Parade, the bi-nightly running haunted procession that is part of the separately ticketed event's entertainment offerings. This is because of ongoing construction of the Coco attraction at the back of Pixar Pier resulting in no room for parades of any sort in the interim. So instead, we get a cavalcade called Madame Leota's Swinging Wake, and it's quickly become one of the biggest open secret hits of the event. If you're well positioned enough to watch from one of the three parade stops, you'll see characters doing extended version of their dances and injecting extra energy and pizzazz into the parade. It's all themed to the Haunted Mansion lore, and the performance tapestry and artisty combine to make one display of graveyard boogie!
To tie in, here are some photos of the Haunted Mansion segment of a previous Oogie Boogie Bash Frightfully Fun parade!
