The Towering Tower
I love playing with a compressed perspective sometimes. It can really emphasize and exaggerate scale, making tall and massive objects in the distance look even more so in comparison to shorter foreground elements. That's exactly the effect of Tokyo Disney Sea's Tower of Terror in the scene below. Taken from across the bay of Mediterranean Harbor, from Fortress Explorations, the use of a telephoto lens, zooming into the massive E-Ticket, gives the impression that it is even bigger and taller than it already is, especially over the holiday-decked McDuck's Department Store in a nearby neighborhood within the same land. It's a pretty cool effect, if you ask me!
|The towering Hotel Hightower is certainly aptly named, dominating the American Waterfront skyline through all seasons.|
