Mickey and Minnie's Christmas

Strolling down Hong Kong Disneyland is a bit of a trip, since it's very much like the original Disneyland in Anaheim, only not quite, because shops have different names, and the arrangement of stores and restaurants is a bit different.  Things get more discernably different by the time guests reach The Hub--especially during the holidays, when a novel Christmas tree and figures of iconic Disney toons make up a cheerfully colorful Christmas scene.  This contrasts the classic sight of Walt and Mickey looking down Main Street as part of the Partners Statue, even during the holidays.  Though Sleeping Beauty's Castle is also similar in the background, the mountainous backdrop beyond is not, nor is the absence of snow and castle decorations.  Perhaps the latter will change when Hong Kong Disneyland completes its ambitious castle refurbishment, turning Sleeping Beauty Castle into the Castle of Magical Dreams!

The Hub at Hong Kong Disneyland is colorful and festive during Christmas time.
