The Castle and the Tree

Shanghai Disneyland might not seem like the place to have a Christmas overlay, since Christmas is commonly associated with western and capitalist ideals, but apparently, even China has a soft spot for the holidays, because both Mickey Avenue and the Gardens of Imagination have festive ornamentation for the winter season.  At the Gardens of Imagination, the towering Christmas tree provides a nice juxtaposition with the massive Enchanted Storybook Castle, and both reflected in the waters around this central hub area create a lovely ambiance--especially with poinsettias in the same frame.  Ultimately, the spirit of the season manifests itself in all cultures as a celebration of togetherness and peace.  And I feel like this scene captures that mood quite nicely.

The Enchanted Storybook Castle and towering Christmas tree make a lovely holiday sight.
