The Rugged Cityscape

Today's photo is not necessarily any sort of grand vista, but it's the type of scene that I really like about Tokyo Disney Sea, because it feels transportive to the ambiance of a real-world destination.  In this case, on the outskirts of the New York section of American Waterfront, the elevated structure of the Disney Sea Electric Railway evokes the mass transit system of the New York Metro (or perhaps the L in Chicago), while the "aged" brick buildings communicate an early 1900s-era history that very well could have been authentic.  The hyper-realistic detailing, architecture, and ambiance seem to envelop guests into an escapist world, and even in these little moments, I find great beauty (and photogenic qualities) in the Disney Sea environment!
