1901 is the exclusive lounge inside the Carthay Circle Restaurant building reserved for Platinum members of Club 33 and their guests. A couple of months ago, I was fortunate enough to be such a guest and be granted a look inside. The atmosphere is luxurious, refined, and relaxed--an oasis of elegance within a bustling park. But one area in particular drew my attention--over by the bar, there were two high chairs labeled Walt and Lillian. Mr. Disney and his beloved wife. It was a special moment noticing this touching tribute, and for a brief instant, I imagined it might be possible for the two to come strolling in and take a seat in their favorite spots. Just a neat little detail inside 1901.
