Afternoon Down the Main Drag

Last Sunday was an incredibly beautiful afternoon at the Disneyland Resort.  Though the weather forecast had hinted at rain, it turned out to be blue skies and puffy clouds and warm sun.  So after gorging myself with wonderful Food & Wine Festival offerings, I went about trying to capture the light.  To avoid those pesky guests that always seem to get in the way of my shots, I used my telephoto for part of the afternoon, honing in on compositional moments--capturing details or parts of a scene.  It was nice to work through a contrast to my typical wide-open shots.  And scenes like the one below help serve a reminder of a blissful afternoon at the neighbor to the Happiest Place on Earth!

An occasionally pausing yellow light and a sleek neon sign dot Radiator Springs' skyline.
