The El Capitoon in Her Splendor

Last Saturday, I had the chance to ride the new Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction at Disneyland.  It's currently the only thing open in Mickey's Toontown, which is still underground refurbishment and is set to open next month on March 19th.  For now, guests can't even access the area unless they have a virtual queue reservation or a Lightning Lane access, and after riding it during the day with virtual queue and at night with Lightning Lane, I made sure to get some photos of the area.

This photo below took multiple exposures to mask out as many people as I could, because the constant influx of guests waiting in line, coming up to the ride entrance, exiting the ride, and standing all around the front of the El CapiTOON Theater, posing for photos, guaranteed that getting one of those empty shot photos would be impossible unless I was here at the very end of the night.  And given the fact that Mickey's Toontown closes during the fireworks, and I had a dinner reservation elsewhere anyway, some Photoshop editing was the best I could get.  This still does show the grandeur and beauty of the new El CapiTOON Theater, which serves as the facade for the new attraction.  It's a fantastic addition to Mickey's Toontown and a clear icon for the land.  And it looks positively radiant at night!
