A Cruise on the Waterfront

Lots of people love to go on cruises.  Not me but I can understand the appeal.  You get a home base for an extended amount of time, allowing you to visit multiple destinations without having to repeatedly unpack and repack.  Plus the ship amenities can be pretty relaxing.  The food is great, apparently.  Or at least people seem to feast a whole bunch on cruises.  But I'd rather explore on my own and set my own itinerary and take in a destination for longer when I'd like.  So that cruising life isn't really for me.  At least not yet.  It probably will one day, when I start valuing convenience more.  But for now this might be the closest cruise ship I get on--the one they built as theming at Tokyo Disney Sea!

The Columbia at Tokyo Disney Sea on a beautiful day.
