The Hyperion in Detail

The Hyperion Cafe features an awesome airship sticking out of the entrance of this quick-serve dining establishment, and it functions as a really cool and iconic visual for an otherwise middling and disappointing restaurant at Disneyland Paris.  The food is not so great and the lines are unreasonably long.  But man, that exterior is such a photo op!  Enhancing the Jules Verne-inspired steampunk aesthetic of Discoveryland, it references part of a never-built idea for a themed land by Disney Imagineering legend Tony Baxter.  Poking out of its hangar, it seems poised for adventure--perhaps like something out of Around the World in 80 Days.  Here are a few angles of this stirring piece of Disney theming!
