The Skeleton Crew
We're in Halloween season, but posting seasonal photos throughout the entirety of this time of the year gets a little repetitive, so occasionally, I'll post subject matter that is "Halloween-adjacent." For example, today's post features a lot of skeletons. And pirates, which are a very popular theme for Halloween yard displays in Southern California. Put them together, and you have something that is seasonally recognizable and beloved.
In this case, we're in Shanghai Disneyland, and their spectacular version of Pirates of Caribbean. It's a completely plot and experience than the others, centered on the hit movie franchise rather than redoing the original Anaheim classic. But it's a thrill to ride and experience, and it's a monumental development of physical sets and screen-based attraction-making!
