Ever find yourself confronted by that perfect shot, but you don't have the proper equipment to pull it off? Well, get creative. Not ever shot requires a tripod. Sometimes, just finding something sturdy to prop the camera against will do. This may be a light pole, or a bit of fence, or a trash can. Or in this case, it might just be the ground itself, with the lens hood propping the camera up at a slightly upward angle that avoids photographing only street pavement. And who knows, maybe at the end of the street, there's another photographer trying to get a similar shot looking in your direction!
