Maleficent's Fall

The climactic moment in FANTASMIC! is clearly the transformation of Maleficent into a terrible fire-breathing dragon.  When that imposing, 40-foot gall figure makes its entrance, it's quite an impressive sight.  But alas, Mickey always gets the upper hand, and I suppose it makes sense. It is his dream, not the villains', so he naturally comes out victorious.

Here are some shots I took not too long ago from a perch near the landing for the Rafts to Tom Sawyer Island.  It's actually a great place to get a pretty good view of the show if you arrive with minimal time before the show, and all the other spots have already filled up.
