A Warm Day on the Rapids
Today's post coincides with a warming trend this weekend bringing a taste of summer to Southern California. This year has been mostly cool and predominantly wintry by SoCal standards, and those warm, bright, blue sky days haven't seemed as common as usual. But as we ease into the summer season, the dramatic weather should be moving behind us, leaving beautifully sunny conditions that we're used to seeing in L.A. and Orange County and beyond. Or maybe I'm just trying to tie those connotations to these glowing scenes around Grizzly River Run, where the allure of the wilderness and the golden, filtered light through the evergreen trees produce some scenes that are evocative of warm weather exploration!
