Late nights at the Rancho del Zocalo are always peaceful, as the closed restaurant is largely empty of people during this time of the evening. It means the pathway that connects Frontierland to Fantasyland can be photographed without crowds earlier than other parts of the park. A few weeks ago, however, I got a rarer opportunity to photograph the scene post-rain, capturing luminous reflections on the slick stone ground balancing the lights and intricate archway of the path. I've had varying amounts of success getting a satisfactory shot of this area over the years, but this time around, I think I came up with something pretty nice.
