Halloween is a wonderful time, and it offers another chance to get a slightly different feel of The Hub with its autumn plantings and jack-o-lanterns around the Walt and Mickey statues located in the heart of the park. With Sleeping Beauty Castle beyond, this frame below is one of my favorites, clearly establishing a nice, layered foreground, midground, and background. The other night when I was at Disneyland, I happened to be there late enough to get a clear shot, and the security guards were nice enough to part and let me capture it. To me, this is one of the "essence of Disney Halloween" compositions that never gets too old to enjoy. Just ten more days until the haunting season will pass!

Such an iconic shot! I love the pics with the park cleared out. With no people in the shot it gives a feeling like the park has been popped out of time and is in it's own bubble. It's magical.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Jim! I agree, that is when the park is most magical! =DDelete
