Two Boats, One Island

This picture was taken nearly a decade ago and isn't anything particularly remarkable, except that it does show a wide-angle view centered on the Rivers of America with both of its water-faring vessels in the same shot.  Not as prominent but definitely visible is the FANTASMIC! crew, prepping for the evening's showing.  Of course, back then, the Maleficent animatronic hadn't burned up yet.  In fact, at the time this was taken, the Maleficent animatronic was still really a dragon on a stick.  But the show was still memorable and remarkable, and with Disney's recent announcement that the nighttime spectacular won't be back till spring 2024 at the earliest, it is even more missed.  

This daytime view of the Rivers of America is lovely, though.
