Sunnyside at the Pier

Well, the heat is finally here.  After a very wet winter, a gloomier-than-normal May and June, and a glancing heat wave a few weeks ago, the first real summer heat wave of the year is arriving and will continue through the weekend and reportedly stretch into next week.  This means the beach and bodies of water will be the most welcome areas of respite, and seaside environments like Pixar Pier portrays will be a welcome sight to those looking to escape.  SoCal is actually behind the curve, as blistering temperatures have already buffeted Texas and Arizona the past month.  I guess it's time to join the club!
