A Rainy Evening in Adventureland

After a mostly dry winter, it's been a bit soggy the past week.  This brings back memories of rushing through Disneyland on those rare rainy evenings and getting unique slick pavement and reflection shots that make photography--especially at night--so much more interesting.  And with news that theme parks in California can (but most likely won't) reopen as early as April 1st, we can finally breathe some optimism that the pixie dust magic that we've been missing for the past year may very well return soon!  Of course, it's going to be pretty restricted early on.  Park capacity is capped at 15% as long as we're in the red tier, 25% in the orange tier, and still 35% for the lowest severity yellow tier.  This suggests that we may not be at full capacity until the end of the year, or even next year.  But after a yearlong closure, I think any amount of Disney exposure--however little--will still be welcome by Disney fans!

So perhaps soon, we'll be able to capture new memories like the one below!
