Spooky Spooky Blue Horseman

Halloween is the time when the Headless Horseman rides through DCA.  This actually happens in two ways--at the Frightfully Fun Parade during Oogie Boogie Party nights, and more generally via the statue at the edge of Carthay Circle, behind the Storytellers Statue.  Bathed in eerie, cool colors and accompanied by ghostly, echoing gallops and stallion snarls, the Headless Horseman strikes an intimidating pose.  And with its pumpkin head, it is understandable why those who encounter it are terrified.

Fortunately, this figure is rooted in place, unable to pursue anyone.  So have no fear, the Headless Horseman... will stay here.

The Headless Horseman rides again through Carthay Circle!
