The Year of the Tig(g)er

Today is the first day of the lunar new year, and this one marks the year of the tiger!  Fittingly, we're devoting today's post to one of Disney's most beloved.  While there have been lots of tigers throughout Disney lore--Shere Kahn from The Jungle Book, the Bengal Tiger from the Jungle Cruise, and Rajah from Aladdin, to name a few--the most famous one has got to be Tigger, Winnie the Pooh's ever-energetic and super bouncy friend.  And the wonderful thing about Tiggers is that Tiggers are a wonderful thing.  So here are some snapshots of Tigger celebrating the Lunar New Year this year as a part of Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession and the meet-and-greet photo op at the gazebo by Paradise Garden Grill!

Tigger leads the way at Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession this year.

He's even dressed in Chinese garb!

He's ready to demonstrate a few martial arts moves with Chip and Dale.

Looks like Tigger went to Miyagi-do!

Tigger is also around the character meet-and-greet gazebo by Paradise Garden Grill, next to Goofy's Sky School.

Here he presents the beautiful backdrop.

Tigger certainly doesn't lack confidence!

This move is called Flying Tigger, Hidden Dragon!  You don't see any dragons, right?
