Glimpses of the Horseman

In my early days of photographing Disney parks, I would typically take wide angle, broad shots that showed overviews of scenes. These were great for those late night empty park views or general pictures showcasing the ambiance of the parks, but they sometimes lacked focus, framing everything but not really highlight one subject in particular.  As my photography has matured, I've sought to get more zoomed in shots with wide aperture to really concentrate on my subject, creating separation between foreground and background and framing more thoughtfully.  This practice also helps me provide better photos when I don't have the luxury of an empty scene and need to shoot between other guests.

I like how the examples below of the Headless Horseman of Buena Vista Street turned out.  What do you think?
