The Manor on the River
Disneyland's Haunted Mansions around the world all have their own, unique presentation and framing in terms of how they appear to guests approaching them. The original is that stately, classic Southern Plantation. Walt Disney World's is nestled within Liberty Square and sort of comes up suddenly. Tokyo Disneyland's is a little bizarre, in that it's located in Fantasyland and not as cohesive. But my favorite might be Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor, which looms at the far end of Thunder Mesa, overlooking the Rivers of the Far West. It looks eerie and ominous, and it's prominently seen. Though dilapidated, hints of its former glory are clearly present. It's all just a really evocative scene--one of many at the most beautiful Magic Kingdom park!
