Jumpin' All Through the Night

Last week, when I was going around Disney California Adventure snapping nighttime photos, I passed by Jumpin' Jellyfish and realized that I never really taken a photo of this junior size attraction!  It's not exactly something I feel a need to ride--after all, it is aimed toward younger children just getting their first taste of thrills.  I've only ridden it once--during the first year of DCA's operation, and since then, it's simply been a marker on my walk around Paradise Bay.

On this night, though, the colors of this tyke-sized attraction called to me, so I set up my tripod, dialed down the ISO, ramped up the shutter speed, and let a long exposure run to capture a smooth, crisp photo.  Unlike my Golden Zephyr in motion shot, this was just to get a crisp photo--no movement effects needed. But it turned out quite pretty, I think!

The colorful towers of Jumpin' Jellyfish stand out vibrantly at night at Disney California Adventure!
