Pacific Wharf in the Rain

This year has been a year of drought again, with less rain than we normally get, so scenes like the one below have once again been relegated to memories and remembrances.  But there's no denying how lovely a rainy evening makes the park look after the precipitation has stopped, and the ground is glistening with puddles and reflections of the lit architecture and ambiance around.  In some places, like this San Francisco-themed area, the atmosphere of a rainy evening makes the scene even more homely and fitting, conjuring moods of the areas that inspired the land.  I've always pictured Northern California being more evocative in the rain, so being able to capture evenings scenes like this renders more emotional resonance to my park experiences.

A drizzly evening over by Pacific Wharf.
