Another Holidays' End

What happens when you want to take a nighttime holiday photo down Main Street, but the bottom portion of the iconic, towering Town Square Christmas tree has been rendered dark because of recent rains?  Well, you adjust your perspective and make sure foreground elements can helpfully block out the unlit portion!  That's what I did a week and a half ago with this shot, which captured Walt and Mickey looking on as through to say goodbye to another winter holiday season.  The view down Main Street is always majestic, and this angle with the Partners Statue in focus but all of Main Street beyond in colorful bokeh paints a moody, enchanting feel beckoning of holiday magic.  I thought it would be a good one to feature as we come to the official end of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort!

Mickey and Walt look on toward Main Street at a Christmas tree whose bottom fifth was unlit the night I shot this photo, which necessitated some careful framing to conceal the dark bottom!
