Evenings in Batuu II
As spectacular as the rocky spires, intricate architecture, evocative spaces, and immersive attractions of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are by day, I feel they are even more incredible to behold at night. The lighting team with Walt Disney Imagineering really knocked it out of the park with the moody blues and purples that light the rocks, and the warm yellows that illuminate buildings and general pathways, and fine control of lighting levels that make nighttime photography in Batuu surprisingly easier than expected. The dynamic range is never too extreme, so I only need a couple of exposures to do most frames justice. And like Tokyo Disney Sea, at Galaxy's Edge, I feel like I can point my camera in any direction and get a dramatic and beautiful shot. It's a whole different world "on planet," and I love it!
